Activities Club
The hotel activities club is our information centre for cultural activities, shows, day trips, etc. anything that you might like to do during your stay. There is a programme of daytime and evening activities and both children and adults will find something to their liking, perfect for those who like to get involved in the hotel games and fun.

 

There is something for all ages:

• Club 4: for children less than four years of age, a nursery school supervised by qualified carers.
• Mini club: for children between 4 and 12, games sports and parties all supervised by monitors.

 

Some of the numerous activities that the hotel organise include:
miniolympics, archery, rifle shooting and air pistol. We also have darts, table tennis and several table games.
In the pool we organise water volleyball and water polo, and volleyball, tennis and football on the beach. All these activities are organised by a monitor but guests can also use the equipment and play whenever they wish. Other activity include water gym.
The hotel has tennis and paddle tennis courts, which can be hired by the hour along with the equipment for playing.

 

There is a Windsurfing school on the hotel beach which offers a great choice of water sports:

 

• Windsurfing:
  4 hour long course (3 or 4 days depending on the weather) which can be prolonged with extra classes in groups of 2 to 6 people per monitor. The monitors will teach any level and provide equipment according to that level. 
• Bodyboard and Surfing:
  3 hour beginners class (2 or 3 days depending on the weather) which can be prolonged with extra classes in groups of 2 to 4 people per monitor. You can also hire a bodyboard on a hourly basis. 
• Scuba diving:
  Hire masks, flippers and snorkel to go scuba diving on your own, or do a dive with a monitor or even a diving course.
• Kayak I and II:
  Hire canoes for one or two people, under indirect supervision by monitors who also give classes.

Other activities and day trips may also be organised from the hotel to make the most of what the region has to offer:

• Horse riding:
  Only five minutes from the hotel there is a horse riding centre where guests can enjoy riding for an hour or up to a full day, under the supervision of specialised guides. Enjoy the local scenery with rides along the beach or in the Estrecho natural park.
• Boat trips and high sea fishing:
  Only 15 kms from the hotel, in the Barbate marina, you can hire boats and make your own made to measure trip, with cocktail included. 
• Whale watching:
  From Tarifa port, 25 minutes from the hotel, there is a daily boat that goes whale watching (depending on the weather).
• Benalup Golf Club:
  For a great day’s golf Benalup Golf Club is 30 kms from the hotel. Book direct or from the hotel and take advantage of our special offers.
• Dehesa Montenmedio:
  Dehesa Montenmedio is 20 kms from the hotel where you can try various sports such as golf, quad bikes, adventure sports and horse riding. Book direct or from the hotel. Our guests have special advantages at the Club Montenmedio.

Piano Lobby Bar
Located in the hotel hall in the main building of the hotel, the bar has a wide choice of drinks and aperitifs. Enjoy its warm and relaxed atmosphere, with a focus on the live music by our pianist, jazz groups or flamenco groups. It is the perfect place to unwind and enjoy a drink at the end of the day. There is also a great cocktail menu.

 

Tánger Bar
The Bar Tánger with its Arabian decor can be found in the Lobby bar. Try the famous Moorish tea or one of our delicious cocktails while you enjoy the show.

 

Pool Bar
Our pool bar is perfect for anyone looking for a break from the heat of the sun and wanting to snack on something light without having to leave the hotel. On one side there is a wet bar in the pool itself and on the other a terrace.
Choose from a wide variety of drinks and snacks; salads, hamburgers, gazpacho and sandwiches… amongst others.
This bar is also ideal for wedding cocktails, groups … as well as for coffee breaks in business meetings.  The different colours of the sky as the sun sets makes the  terrace a wonderful setting for any type of event. With the lights of the pool, the noise of the water, the palm trees and the torches in the garden, the hotel enjoys a truly magical atmosphere.
